At the end of the eighties when the market started to launch diagnostic products, Bruno Vianello had the insight to design and build tools to help technicians in ECU diagnosis.

In 1992 Bruno Vianello, together with his partner Manuele Cavalli, founded TEXA, “Electronic Technologies for Automotive” which has designed and developed diagnostic equipment for automotive vehicles.

At the beginning the company started with 10 employees, the company (placed in Veneto, close to Venice) had immediate success in the market and in 15 years TEXA produced more than 60.000 diagnostic tool, car A/C service station and exhaust gas analyzers. Thanks to its international expansion, since 2001 the company has experienced a continuous growth of its turnover. The company has now more than 420 employees with a high percentage of dedicated to R&D.

In 2002 TEXA became a SpA company and in 2004, due to the continuous growth, the company opened its new headquarters in Treviso. The new building is the forefront of technology and safety, and in 2009, will become three times bigger. Today TEXA is a European leader in project, industrialization and manufacturing of diagnostic tools for cars, bikes and commercial vehicles.

TEXA has invested to extend its sales network and has a wide distribution network of authorized dealers all throughout the world and it has established through its subsidiaries in Spain, Germany, United Kingdom, France, USA, Poland and Russia.

The company now offers its products to both the independent market and to OEMs. Thanks to its reliability, TEXA has been chosen as an official partner by many OEM companies such as Johnson Controls, Magneti Marelli, Siemens, VDL Bus & Coach, Aprilia, Benelli, Pagani Automobili, Renault Trucks.

In 2007 the company won the Frost & Sullivan Innovation Award: “The award is in recognition of the company’s technological superiority within its industry and ability to successfully develop and introduce new technology besides formulating well-designed product families. Recent examples are AXONE Palm and AXONE Pad, both with the innovative use of the Google Search Engine. The result has been the distinct ability of TEXA Spa to make significant leaps in product development leaving market competitors far behind.”

In 2008 TEXA signed an important agreement for the official supply of Piaggio Group.
All Piaggio, Vespa, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Gilera, Scarabeo, Derbi and Piaggio Commercial Vehicles concessionaires and stores, in Italy and abroad, will progressively adopt TEXA advanced tool Navigator TXB for the diagnosis of electronic components.
Then, during Automechanika 2008, AXONE Direct was presented as a direct descendant of the famous AXONE 2000, sold in more than 30.000 pieces worldwide. AXONE Direct completes the AXONE range as an "all in one" solution, combining the simplicity and rapidity of the classic cabled tool with the huge possibilities in terms of practicalness offered by the Bluetooth technology.

In 2009 TEXA launched two multi-brand diagnostic interfaces dedicated to the marine and the agricultural sector.
TEXA continued its research in telediagnostics in order to develop brand new solutions in this field.
Texa's efforts do not go unnoticed and the company was awarded with the Golden Trophy during the International Grand Prix for Automotive Innovation in Paris. An International group of 87 specialized journalists representing 26 different countries rate the new TEXA OBD Log the best tool for workshops.
