New TEXA AXONE SMART

At the Automechanika show in Rome, TEXA presented its new Axone Smart. This innovative tool has already been introduced with great success on other European markets.
The Axone Smart is aimed at mechanics with no need for remote connectivity, but who do not want to miss out on all the other great functions that make Axone instruments the undisputed leaders in latest generation selfdiagnostic devices.
The Axone Smart is an “all in one” tool dedicated exclusively to selfdiagnostic functions. As such means it is beautifully simple and effective. The Axone Smart, however, is also upgradable, and users can switch from Light to Plus software at any time, whenever the need arises.
Just like its bigger “brothers”, the Axone Smart lets you work on all makes and models of cars, vans, motorcycles, scooters, quads and jet skis. The Axone Smart uses TEXA’s proprietary IDC3 software which is acclaimed as the simplest and most intuitive yet must function-packed on the market.
The Axone Smart comes with IDC3 Pocket Light software as standard. This version offers the full range of selfdiagnostic resources and troubleshooting guides, plus TEXA’s exclusive TGS2 - TEXA Global Scan - for automatic diagnosis and error detection on all vehicle control units. All you need to do select brand and model, then you can leave this innovative system run the diagnostics without any further help, coming back to it in a few minutes once the analysis has been completed.
The Axone Smart also lets you reset warning lights, airbags, and service or oil change counts. The software’s broad scope also provides advanced functions like parameter and status reading, adjustments and activations, electronic component settings, and control unit and key encryption.  The Axone Smart’s diagnostic resources cover all the electronic systems and components found on modern vehicles, from engine control units to electrical systems, transmission and auxiliary control systems.
Just to mention the most common, the Axone Smart covers fuel injection, active and passive safety, power steering and suspension systems, body computers, instrumentation, multifunctional displays, steering control electronics, infotainment systems (audio, CD player, mobile, TV, etc.), keyless devices, automatic gearboxes, electronic clutches, all-wheel drive, air conditioning and heating systems.
